Welcome to the Seventh Petal

Gratitude is the quiet doorway to abundance a gentle opening of the heart that reconnects us to the flow of life. It reminds us that true blessings are not found in what we possess, but in what we feel, witness, and share. When the heart softens in gratitude, the Anahata Chakra awakens, expanding compassion, forgiveness, and joy. Through reflection, mindful breathing, and simple acts of kindness, every moment becomes a silent prayer of thanks. In this space, gratitude clears the mind, purifies the emotions, and invites abundance to flow naturally bringing healing, harmony, and a deeper celebration of life itself.

Process

The Gratitude Petal

Step 1: Guided Gratitude Meditation

The day begins with gentle breathwork and heart-centred awareness. Maithree bhawana

Step 2:Morning Reflection & Journaling

In a serene space filled with soft flute music and the sounds of nature, participants reflect on the question:

“What am I thankful for in this moment?”
Through journaling, gratitude moves from thought to ink, from mind to heart becoming a tangible vibration of mindfulness.

Step 3:Letter of Gratitude Workshop

Every person carries stories of kindness and unseen support.
In this session, participants write heartfelt letters to someone who influenced their life — a parent, teacher, friend, or even their own younger self.
Whether sent or kept private, these letters release love, forgiveness, and appreciation into the world.

Step 4:Letter of Forgiveness Workshop

Forgiveness and gratitude are two petals of the same flower one releases, the other receives.
In this workshop, participants use reflective writing to gently let go of past hurts and emotional burdens.

There are moments and people in life that are hard to forgive. Some memories sit quietly in the heart, creating heaviness.
This practice is not about forcing forgiveness it is about freeing your heart from what no longer needs to be carried.

Through guided prompts and calm awareness, participants place their pain into a letter, allowing space for healing, softness, and gratitude to return.

Step 5:Gratitude in Action Volunteer & Service Activities

Gratitude finds its true expression in Seva selfless service.
Participants extend their appreciation beyond the self through acts of giving and care:

    Nature & Environmental Gratitude
  • Tree or Herbal Garden Planting : giving back to the Earth.
  • Beach or River Clean-Up Walk: walking in silence, blessing each step.
  • Adopt-a-Tree Programme: nurturing one tree as a living reminder of gratitude.
    Compassionate Community Service
  • Home Visit Massage for Elders : offering soothing touch and presence.
  • Meal of Gratitude : preparing and serving an Ayurvedic meal for those in need.

Step 6: Mindful Rituals in the Sand Garden

To complete the Petal, participants enter a space of silence and symbolic offering the Sand Garden, where devotion meets mindfulness:

Flower offerings for beauty and devotion
Candle lighting for clarity and intention.
Incense burning for purification of thoughts.
Bodhi tree watering for resilience and life energy.

Each act is a reminder that gratitude is not a word it is a way of living.
