Our vision is to gently awaken human beings to the truth behind their endless search for happiness. From the moment we wake up until we fall asleep, we seek pleasure through the six senses through sight, sound, taste, touch, smell, and thought. There is nothing wrong with enjoying pleasure. Yet the Buddha revealed something deeper: to understand why pleasure arises, why it fades, and why it never fully satisfies. Even our own mind cannot remain as we wish for a few minutes. Even if our own body does not obey our wishes, it grows old, becomes ill, and eventually passes away. Seeing this, we search outside for fulfillment in people, success, possessions, and roles. Our vision is to present this profound truth that desire is never fully fulfilled by the inner world or the outer world in a simple, gentle, and practical way, so it can be understood and lived in daily life. Through the timeless wisdom of the Buddha and the depth of Paṭiccasamuppāda (Dependent Origination), we aim to help seekers clearly see that: True freedom is not found by chasing what is pleasant, but by understanding the nature of pleasure itself. This platform exists to add clarity, depth, and conscious awareness to your spiritual life so that peace is no longer something you search for outside, but something you begin to recognize within.
The Buddha was a historical person, born as Prince Siddhartha in India in the 6th century BC. He was not a god, nor an incarnation of any divine being, but a human being who attained supreme wisdom and enlightenment through his own insight and effort.
He lived a life that confronted the realities of human existence aging, sickness, and death symbolized in the four sights that changed his destiny: an old man, a sick person, a corpse, and a serene monk. These experiences awakened his deep understanding of Dukkha, the dissatisfying nature of life.
Buddhism for Beginners introduces simple, practical wisdom from the Buddha, guiding newcomers toward mindfulness, inner peace, compassionate living, and a deeper understanding of life.
