Wellcome to Ayurvedic body oil

In the Blue Water Lily Programme, Petal No. 3 invites you to rediscover one of Ayurveda’s most beloved self-care rituals Abhyanga, the art of oiling the body. It is not merely a massage it’s a conversation between your hands, your skin, and your spirit. Through the warmth of oil, your body finds calm, your mind becomes quiet, and your energy returns to balance.
In our modern world of travel, screens, and constant motion, the body accumulates dryness, fatigue, and stress.
Oiling helps reverse these effects grounding your energy, restoring vitality, and reawakening inner harmony.

Ayurvedic Body Oil

"Oiling the body (Abhyanga) is one of Ayurveda’s most beloved daily rituals. It nourishes your skin, muscles, and joints while calming the nervous system. According to Ayurveda, the body accumulates dryness, stress, and fatigue especially when traveling, working long hours, or using electronic devices. Warm oiling helps reverse this by grounding and stabilizing your energy."

Benefits:

  • Moisturizes and strengthens tissues
  • Improves circulation and flexibility
  • Reduces anxiety and stress
  • Promotes better sleep
  • Slows aging and enhances vitality

Why Ayurvedic Body Oil Important?

↪ Especially in today’s fast-paced, overstimulated lifestyle. Just as food nourishes the body from the inside, oil nourishes it from the outside.
↪ Regular oiling helps maintain balance (Swasthya) the key to health in Ayurveda.
↪ If you cannot do it daily, even twice a week offers noticeable benefits.
↪ In Sri Lanka, this practice has been part of traditional wellness for generations bringing calmness, warmth, and resilience.
