For several years, I had the privilege of being a personal carer for Fabrizio Liberati, an extraordinary man who lived with Parkinson’s disease. Despite his physical limitations and reliance on a wheelchair, Fabrizio refused to let life pass him by.
Together, we traveled to over 10 European countries, 100+ cities, Sri Lanka, Dubai, and almost every corner of Italy. We shared countless adventures — from sipping coffee in Rome’s piazzas, to wandering the streets of Grottaferrata, to exploring cultures far beyond home.
Fabrizio taught me something unforgettable: the world belongs to everyone, regardless of age, health, or limitations. His courage and joy of life became the inspiration for AyuCare Ceylon’s mission to create accessible travel for people who need care, dignity, and freedom.
